Quality Assurance Engineer
HeavyLift International Airlines is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in aircraft maintenance engineering or its equivalent to be a part of our Quality Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requesting and maintaining local and international airworthiness approvals. Work closely with Local and International Regulators
- Conducting audit and surveillance programs
- Analyzing Regulatory documents
- Reviewing Engineering Orders
- Overseeing and auditing the maintenance activities in respect of the continuing airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.
- Manage Human factor programs, internal maintenance error investigations and work closely with Safety groups
- Work closely with maintenance department for corporate policy and regulatory documents.
- Maintain and update Vendors / Subcontractors, Calibration, Maintenance engineers’ records, aircraft and organization approvals
- Maintain Quality Manual updates.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years aircraft maintenance experience. Supervisory experience would be an advantage
- At least an additional 5 years quality assurance experience with either an airline or an MRO.
- Specialist Quality Assurance training (such as Air Law, Audit ISO9001, Aircraft Airworthiness, ICAO, FAR145, EASA145, 66,147 modules etc.)
- Aircraft engineering license (Airframe/engine or Avionics) would be an advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English.
